OTTO FUCHS Hungary Kft.
OTTO FUCHS Hungary Kft. in Tatabánya, Hungary (45 km west of Budapest), has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of OTTO FUCHS since 2010. By next year, the plant with over 500 employees will combine the technology of aluminium casting and forging under one roof. These two different production processes only require separate production facilities for the initial stages. The end processing of the wheels, including the finish, is identical.
The lightweight forged wheel is a development of OTTO FUCHS. With new production processes, it is even easier and, above all, more cost-effective to produce forged aluminium wheels. Due to the reduction in weight, forged wheels have a positive effect on fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Ever more automobile manufacturers are trying to reduce the weight of their vehicles to make them more environmentally friendly. For this reason, OTTO FUCHS Hungary will also concentrate on producing forged lightweight metal wheels and invest in additional capacities for the constantly growing demand.
Wheels made by OTTO FUCHS Hungary meet the highest requirements of automotive manufacturers worldwide. Due to our capacities, we are now able to produce forged wheels up to a size of 18". Almost all well-known automobile manufacturers are supplied with wheels made by OTTO FUCHS Hungary. We also want to maintain this position in future by making long-term investments and carrying out ongoing research and development.
